The box is the first thing a customer picks up, and it often decides whether a product stands out on the shelf or goes unnoticed. In the examples below we show which packaging we make most often and how finishing makes it special. Finishing is the treatment applied to a printed carton box afterwards: it makes the box more durable, more attractive and more pleasant to the touch.
The pictures show our customers’ packaging: medicine and cosmetic boxes, soap packaging, an absorbent insert, packaging for car accessories, and the printed flat sheets that go with them. For pharmaceutical and cosmetic products, precision and appearance matter especially: the box must protect the product, carry the mandatory information legibly, and look good on the shelf. That is why this packaging is ideal for such products.
The most common finishing methods, explained simply:
- hot foil: a metallic, glossy surface (for example gold or silver) that makes a logo or a name stand out at once,
- embossing: the pattern or lettering rises from the carton, so it can be felt as well as seen,
- spot UV varnish: only the chosen areas become glossy while the rest stays matt, which gives the box a lively contrast,
- BOPP lamination, gloss or matt: a thin protective film that guards against scratches and moisture; the gloss version makes the colours more vivid, the matt version adds elegance.
